We was only one customer at the time. Special for us they fire up fire place. Amazing staff amazing place. I been in michelin star restaurant in italy, they was not the best compare with this. Quality of food is amazing i never eat like this. Price to this what you get is jjst amazing. If this will be next to see you will pay x4 for that kind of food.

1st restaurant in Algarve that we found with awesome food, not typical for tourists. End of February where most of the restaurant were closed. One staff, the cook who played on the music when we came and set the fire place, only for us. Got Lamb Kebab and Salmon Puff Pastry, Pear with Saffon Sauce and Puff Pastry Cheese with Nuts!!! All tasted great

Not often I review restaurants but this restaurant really deserves a 5 all round. Food was all interesting and with incredible tastes without being over seasoned. Great service too, the fire was lit which was welcomed being January, lovely atmosphere too which is hard to achieve in this quiet month.. will be back!
The brie puff: the touch of cinnamon adds a very particular balance, where the tasty and sweet brie shines in all its splendor.
The salmon puff pastry: due to the combination of different textures (the crunchiness of the puff pastry contrasted with the salmon fillet) it brilliantly results in an original proposal for presenting the fish.
The alheira balls: they are very tasty. The inclusion of cherry jam filling gives it a lightness and freshness that surprises the palate.
The shrimp bread: the creaminess of the bread combined with the unmistakable flavor of the shrimp (the shrimp cooked religiously to perfection, that is, extremely juicy) makes this bread, as well as being unique, one of the best bread dishes we've ever eaten.
Sea bass fillet: it is one of the highlights of the menu. The crunchiness of the film that tenuously surrounds the fillet, combined with the exquisite preparation of the fish (very well seasoned) makes it one of the most noble dishes in the house, both for its protein, preparation and excellent flavor.
First dinner (May 2023):
The cheese and sausages board is simply unmissable due to the different textures and variety of flavors between the more cured and reduced cured ones. Both the sea bass and cod fillets (our choice for main dishes) stood out for their careful preparation, plating and perfectly cooked flavor. Divine. The variety of desserts presented is also worth highlighting, from the pear cooked in saffron syrup, the red fruit panna cotta and the delicious artisanal almond ice cream from the Algarve. Memorable. A relaxed and welcoming environment, whose friendly staff and professionalism in a space where good taste and attention to detail prevail, resulted in and promoted an excellent experience for all diners! Highly recommended restaurant! Congratulations to the Chef!

The most wonderful dinner. It was all absolutely delicious. The prawns, lamb, pumpkin rice were all amazing. The owner / chef was lovely. Opens at 5pm so excellent for families with young children. The price was incredibly reasonable, €77 euros for 6/7 tapas, a bottle of wine, 3 beers, 2 soft drinks and two desserts. We were all full and very happy. I can’t recommend highly enough, we will definitely be back.
Kid-friendliness: Our two boys 4 and 2 were made to feel very welcome and it was incredibly relaxed.
