“We was only one customer at the time. Special for us they fire up fire place. Amazing staff amazing place. I been in michelin star restaurant in italy, they was not the best compare with this. Quality of food is amazing i never eat like this. Price to this what you get is jjst amazing. If this will be next to see you will pay x4 for that kind of food.

EXCELLENT cuisine, a bit in the "old school" style, but it always works.
I didn't really like the passion fruit mousse but maybe that's a personal taste.

“January 23, 2024: For seven years we have been visiting Casa da Barreira on our trips to Sao Bras to enjoy a hot drink and a piece of cake. The standard hot drinks are a Bica cheia and a Meia de leite - you probably won't get better in the Algarve. The cakes today were a bolo de amêndoa with a fabulously airy dough under a dense layer of wonderfully sweet and sticky almond slivers and a bolo de abóbora (pumpkin cake) - recommended!“

“If you want the best seafood stew you will ever try, you have to try Snack Bar Davi - don't let the name put you off thinking it's a snack bar - very much not, it's a fabulous street restaurant with food is to die for and how Davi does it for the prices he charges is unbelievable. Let take about the Caldeirada (Portuguese monster fish stew) - lordy me 2 langoustines, 6 king prawns, a drove of claims and 5 huge chucks of monkfish all slowly cooked in a shrimp broth boiled with potatoes. How does he do it for €30 for a couple is beyond me! Wine - forget buying an expensive bottle, his house wine @ €8 a litre is as good as any wine I've tasted and matches the main course perfectly. Caution - You have to book this place, pop past and put your name down, you will not be disappointed (closed Tuesday)“

“Being a local, The Owl has been a staple restaurant in São Brás for me and my girlfriend. João and Luís have brought a touch of modernization to São Brás's restaurant game with their latest restaurant. The menu brings flavors from all around the world into one menu. I have tried most items and every single one I tried is delicious! Highly reccommend the tacos and the baos.

The cocktails are also well prepared.“

“We went here recently for lunch with our little one. The pizza and pasta were delicious, staff were lovely and patient with my awful Portuguese lol. The pizza burrata was incredible, highly recommend.
