This is easily a must-visit restaurant. The food is fantastic. The bread is delicious and fresh. The skewers is perfectly medium cooked, full of juice, well seasoned with the smell of grilling charcoals. The sea bass is so fresh that you can smell the sea when it’s on the table. And this is no figurative speaking. The atmosphere is wonderful, local and home feeling. The staff is super friendly. He joked around, offered liquors and gave up many tips for our trips. Really made me felt welcome. And they have that beautiful bird, very adorable, interactive with you. All in all, great experience. Definitely recommended.

Small menu with targeted fish and meat dishes, which are freshly prepared, so that certain dishes are no longer available in the afternoon.
Everything is prepared in-house and the landlord is open to a nice chat. The shrimp, garlic bread, poncha and pastel de nata were outstanding. The poncha was specially prepared in front of us to show how to get it to taste just right.
Absolute recommendation.

By accident arrived here and what a warm welcome by the owner and his team. We had the last 2 spots for the End of the Year/New Years program. Lovely dinner, good atmosphere and great overview, on Funchal city, from the rooftop terrace. See u next year!!!
The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood, on a main road. The place is neat, aesthetic and very clean. The owner was very kind, spoke good English, and gave explanations and recommendations for the dishes on the daily menu. We ordered oysters (lapas) which were delicious, a self-seasoned salad, a generous beef skewer with excellent seasoning and the right degree of grilling, and a very tasty dorado fish. We would also order dessert, but sitting on a wooden bench - without a backrest - was very uncomfortable. We will be happy to return to the restaurant.

The management changed approximately 3 months ago, since then it has gotten a lot worse, I went there a short time ago and ordered kebabs, everything was cold and the owner of the restaurant refused to admit that he didn't bake it, a shame!!!

Unfortunately, on the 9th of this month we had a terrible experience at this restaurant. It was a place we used to go to but we were taken by surprise because it changed management, however we decided to give it a chance. The menu is simple (but that's not a problem) but with high prices for the quality they offer. And then we decided to order the kebab (17 euros for a skewer with 6 pieces) which was cold and the skewer was served cold, which convinced us that the meat was not fresh and was heated in the microwave... horrible. However, we complained and the same meat was brought to us and it was impossible to eat. Obviously we left and were very sad about the situation! We are Madeirans and we know how to serve a good kebab and this one is definitely not it. I feel sorry for this service considering that it is a place frequented by tourists and they have this idea of good food. Thank you and I hope my opinion improves the service.
