The owner is very passionate and enthusiastic about his service. Not an "eat and leave" place. You must be prepared to participate in a guided journey. Good vegan options and veganizable alternatives. Althoug its not a vegan place, they also have vegan starters and deserts.
The welcome was excellent and the explanations were very clear. The staff was very motivated and smiling. I highly recommend this restaurant. They know how to stand out from the competition.

I was very curious about coming here, but I was quite surprised, it exceeded all my expectations. The way customers are served is phenomenal. We ordered the Francesinha Portuguesa and Arouquesa, but at Jorge's suggestion it came half/half and I only ate the best francesinha of my life. The hat-shaped coconut pudding was the perfect ending to the dinner. A dessert that is a beautiful tribute to the city's cultural history. A very welcoming restaurant, with calm music, a beautiful terrace in the square, which at night looks very beautiful with the lights and the fountain. Jorge, thank you for the attention you give to all your customers, congratulations on your concept, for the excellent menu you offer us, you are a visionary and make a difference in restaurants. See you soon .

We were in town on business and went here for dinner. The owner welcome and very warm and motivated. After a welcome drink of white port wine, there was a short introduction and history lesson about Francesinha. The various options on the menu (only digitally on the smartphone) were explained to us in detail. If desired, we could also choose half/half. E.g. with veal + pork. I chose the veal version.
The choice was definitely a good one. This version of the Portuguese sandwich is far from fast food and poor man's food. The quality is excellent and only the best, local ingredients are used. The meat sauce harmonized perfectly with the toast and the rest of the ingredients. Only the chips weren't my thing. I would have preferred normal fries. But it's a personal thing. The prices are a little higher than a 0815 Francesinha, but well worth the money! I will definitely come here again on my next business trip :)

It has the best francesinha in Portugal. It's a family restaurant, where Jorge, the dueño, makes the experience unforgettable. Explains each dish to you and advises you on what to eat with unmatched friendliness. Mandatory stop every time I pass by. Beer and artisanal breads, local meat of the highest quality and varied dishes that are always good. The spectacular postres.
