We haven't been in Alvor since 2019, and were looking forward to several visits to this fantastic restaurant during our recent holiday. We weren't disappointed. Marco and Ricardo warmly welcomed us and it was like we had never left. The whole grilled fish was better than we remembered and we are looking forward to next year already. This is a "must visit" restaurant when in Alvor. Be sure to book in advance though!

Absolutely the freshest best tasting fish in Alvor! Of course it helps that Marco de-bones the fish prior to serving it. We enjoyed Golden Bream and Sole, both of which were grilled absolutely perfectly by Ricardo. We also had the Portuguese Steak and Grilled Prawns which were excellent as well. Service is impeccable as is the ambience, whether you sit inside or outside. Outside is our preference, but they are so busy, it is impossible to get a seat out there unless you make reservations far in advance.

If you want to eat fish this is the place to go. Marco & his team are excellent. We had turbot & sea bass cooked to perfection on a charcoal grill outside. The service was excellent. & prices reasonable too. The only problem being it is so popular you really need to book in advance.

Fabulous delicious fish restaurant - been twice each time the fish is delicious ( in our party of 5 over the 2 nights we had sea bream & sea bass & salmon kebab, sword fish - all delicious) . New potatoes and garlic butter sauce fab . We had to book to get table both nights but well worth booking and will definitely be back .

Would recommend the fish soup to start although all the starters are fantastic. The fresh fish and the cataplana are superb. Service was, as always excellent.
