While walking through the Magoito area in the Parish of São João das Lampas I decided to stop and have lunch at Restaurante O Magoito, located in the town of Arneiro dos Marinheiros. Simple restaurant focused on grilling but also on traditional food. It operates with complete menus (Bread, Olives, Soup, Main Dish, Drink, Dessert and Coffee), both during the week and at the weekend. On my visit, we ordered the Picanha and Secretos Menu, which are accompanied by French Fries, Rice, Black Beans for the Picanha and a salad platter also came as an extra. The Secretos were very tasty and the Picanha was cooked to order (rare), generous portions of both meat and side dishes. But first came a well-made soup, good bread, olives and also some Sicó dry cheese as an extra. Meal accompanied by House Red Wine which was quite good and I finished with a Strawberry Semi Cold. Super efficient, friendly service and price of €14 per person including extras. It is worth it

Family atmosphere Portuguese cuisine. Simple and very good and inexpensive. The amount of food is very generous! Unbeatable value for money! The chef and waitress were super helpful. I'll be back !
