I often go to this restaurant for lunch or dinner, but this time it was a disappointment, I don't know if the cook changed, we ordered the prego on the plate, it had no flavor, the sauce wasn't the usual one, a disappointment, you couldn't even see garlic in the sauce as is normal.

It's not horrible. But “it’s just to get away with it”. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that stands out for a house dedicated to pregos, snacks and snacks.
The service is disorganized, too “disgruntling and relaxed” even considering the type of establishment. The glass is always missing, then the napkin, the drinks are late, whatever…
The prices (because that's what we went to): they are no luxury. Lots of meat, the egg well done as requested but...it's really just meat without even a single seasoning that we can say “tastes something”.
Good octopus salad.
We are used to the “solar do bitoque”, also close by, and there is no comparison in the quality of the experience of a nail eaten in one place or another.
It's not cheap for what it serves.
The desserts are good.
It is not hygienic, especially at floor level, especially in the area leading to the kitchen and pantry. I know it's a work zone, but what I saw has nothing to do with work. Sloppiness.
Can I say “I don’t recommend”? No, I can't.
But is it exceptional or even just good? No, it's not.
It's just regular.

If you really want something different when you feel like a prego or a bite, there is better, with better service, good quality desserts and very close to this place. And much more correct in terms of price/quality ratio.

On April 19th I went with my family, son, daughter-in-law, grandson, my husband and my daughter-in-law's brother and nephew, for lunch at Rui dos pregos, my son, myself, my husband and daughter-in-law ordered stew, it was fine served, if it weren't for the hair that came on my husband's plate of stew and on my daughter-in-law's plate there was also hair, the stew doesn't come on the platters, the portions come right on the plate, the waitress called and went to show the hair to the boss, and comes and says that the boss apologized, of course no one could eat the stew, then for the desserts they asked for camel baba and a dessert came that had nothing to do with camel baba, once again the answer was no they had eggs and they improvised a camel drool, you order coffees and a pomace, in which the waitress serves the pomace in a glass of water, and I said that pomace was not served in those glasses, and again the answer that they had no others glasses because they had all been broken, Result of the lunch: it was expensive and messy, bad service at the tables, and my money didn't go down a single cent, I don't recommend it, at least when it comes to the stew
