I went on a Saturday at lunchtime and it was closed, I don't know if it was for some exceptional reason or if it really doesn't work on Saturdays ?
Homemade food at an affordable price is recommended

Lovely salad and very Nice place with cozy atmosphere! Fish was good -lots og food! Local And italien wine. Good place for sure!
Nice setting on a large terrace with different areas. We sticked to the trational Jordanian dishes, mixed platter as a starter and lamb and fish as mains. All was different from each other and really good. They have Petra beer on tap.
The space is very typical Portuguese, known for its affordable prices, many workers have lunch there, the lunch space is usually quite full, I recommend arriving early. Prices for main dishes do not exceed €10 and there are always new dishes of the day. The employees are very smiling and friendly, the space is half cafe, half restaurant. We opted for the dishes of the day: Brás-style cod, Alentejo-style pork and bitoque. Unfortunately, I didn't like the cod, it had more scrambled eggs than potatoes and cod, and no flavor, no seasoning. But my family members were satisfied with the dishes, even though everything lacked seasoning in our opinion. The house sweet, different from the usual but very good.

Visited Aqaba on a short visit and wanted to celebrate something. So we went to Suzanna. Their mezzo were good as usual. But the John Dory fish (locally known as Denis fish) was the best. Very subtly flavoured and topped with lemon butter. Just order the mains and mezze and dessert is on the house Good service.

Friendly staff but extremely rude and unfriendly boss. On a hot day, today 28.7.2023 we brought with us a peq. Hamster inside a small cage and we asked him to stay with us on the esplanade please because in the car he could die so the boss thought it would be better for the small one. Hamster stay in the car so we decided to leave the establishment and not run the risk of our animal dying or getting sick. Could it be that it was so inconvenient for the little animal to stay at our feet inside the cage?

Our tour group had an excellent lunch here. After 10 days in Jordan, mostly eating hotel buffets or camping food, this was really the tastiest food of our trip, in a lovely peaceful poolside setting.
Exceptionally small portions It was almost like children portions being served to adults Despite ordering the most expensive on the menu we walked away still hungry Furthermore, the bill was 50% more expensive than the UK Even in London yiu would not be expecting to pay that much
This was a trip with a holiday group. I had meze, a glass of bottled water, a mango smoothie and the tiniest expresso I've ever seen. My main course was pan fried sea bream with rice. A small chocolate biscuit paste was brought as dessert. The bill came to 28 dinar. It was formal (bit slow and ignored) service. As you enter the restaurant there is a water feature and plants. Later in the evening traditional music was played. I wish I had just ordered meze. The little pita breads that came were really fresh and hot. The meze was varied and tasty. The mango drink was refreshing, with a mix of crushed ice. The sea bream fish took time to arrive but the conversation flowed so that was OK. The first was served with a brown sauce and a yogurt and dill meze. It was very dry and I left the rice. Sea bream is a favourite but I was disappointed. It was just overcooked I think. The desert was tasteless sticky thing - unidentified and we all left it. It said on the menu 'sweet'. Would I go back? No. Did I like the food? Partly. Was it expensive? Very. Was I full? Yes. The atmosphere was pleasant but I wish we had gone elsewhere. Maybe they struggled to feed 25 people at the same time. There was my table of 11
Super nice place. Everything you could need in the same location: pub, bar, restaurant, live music, beer, snacks, good food... The staff is extremely kind and nice. They serve draft Petra beer, also in pitchers and towers at a fair price. Definitely YES for us!
