Old faded glory?, food is not tasty. Steak "Daniel" not to eat seems to have a somewhat spoiled taste. Really bad, definitely not recommended!!

Super welcoming restaurant, super friendly and pleasant staffWe recommend
The views from terrace are stunning. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Food could be better, especially salads wasn’t fresh.
Slow life on Madera has a name: L&LSuch a cosy and charmful place - with a great food and hospitality.Owners speaks wonderful british english - so there is a story behind this. However - they're born Madeira's fragrance. Classy one.

Stumbled across this place. We were the only people there as it was almost closing time but the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The meals are homemade and very filling. Good prices. Lovely views, lovely people. Do stop by here it’s definitely worth it in our opinion.
I found this delightful place while it was raining. The warm cup of fresh mint tea and lovely conversation with the owners was very enjoyable. I highly recommend.
Nice view and pleasant atmosphere!
Great little gem. Meals are simple but deliciously prepared. Owning couple are golden folks. Bring cash though!

Location - this place was a bit tricky to find, but views from the terrace are gorgeous! Definitely worth to visit, even if you have a time just for a coffee. Hosts - one of the kindest restaurateurs I have ever met. They opened a place specifically for us on a rainy day and prepared quite big and tasty breakfast! Some of the ingredients were sourced from their garden, which is just below the restaurant. We spent around 2-3 hours talking with the owners. One of the most interesting and welcoming/warming memory in Madeira.
