Honestly such a hidden gem. I’m an expat very passionate about local food here in Portugal and Adega Braseira does the best quality petiscos bom the Porto district. I come here at least once a fortnight. The Espedal is so good it’s dangerous .
This restaurant space located in front of the deactivated S. Mamede de Infesta CP station, aims to reintroduce some of the traditional snacks of Portuguese gastronomy into the consumption habits of a young clientele who have never had the opportunity to taste them. I give as examples the sarrabulho porridge, the cod fillets, the floured tripe, the pig's ear with green sauce, etc., etc., as there are a lot of options, all washed down with wine from the house's green or...
Exceptional ham.
Cod bait: it couldn't be better.
The bean rice: great! It would suffice as the standalone prat.
Smoked bacon: impossible to find better.
Be careful with the portions: they are huge.
The wine: splash!!! Best quality sparkling rose.
Exceptional and very cheap.
