On the 13th of August, as every year, my father had his birthday and we all went out for lunch... This time we decided to choose Solar dos Petiscos, in São Mamede. It was, for everyone, the first time (in many we hope) in this restaurant of excellence that represents our traditions as less and less houses. Experts in the art of hospitality, they present a menu of traditional and regional dishes so well prepared that it seems that we are eating at our grandmothers' house...
