“Best restaurant on the island so far! Don't expect something cheap, but everything was divine: the octopus... the tuna... the fillet mignon... the side dishes... the desserts!! Would 1000% recommend to anyone!! The employees were extremely friendly!!
Everything was divine!
I recommend making a reservation.“

“I was sunburned and exhausted when my tour guide brought me here. I just wanted to crawl into a dark room and go to bed; but this place gave me life! Lovely, welcoming host Paula explained everything. The fish stew was wonderful, as were the limpets. They also made a dark caramelized cake that was spectacular and had I felt better I probably could have eaten the entire thing myself!! Really lovely place!“

“A mix of a traditional Azorean restaurant and a more upscale place. When you arrive, you first have to pass the snackbar terrace to go towards the restaurant entrance. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Traditional dishes include grilled fish in a tile (the tile actually comes from Madeira). One big tile can be shared by two people. They also have a couple of dishes which most kids like (spaghetti as well as the full menu from the snackbar).
You get a tablet at your table to go through the digital menu and order the food and drinks that you want. Personally I prefer to talk about the menu with the staff and order it directly from them. Now every guest has to go through the whole menu and some items are not easy to find (e.g. a single glass of wine). That doesn't finish the quality of the food, so just a personal opinion.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of choice, given the fact that the restaurant also provides you access to the snackbar menu. Kids can explore the outdoor area on the terrace with a great ocean view.“

“Restaurant with very good fish. We ordered grilled Veja fillet and black mouth. They were exceptional. It's not cheap but considering the quality of the fish and the atmosphere of the restaurant, it's worth it. Very professional and very attentive staff.“

“Have eaten here now four times in the two weeks I was in Terceira. Brought a party of 21 for dinner here and service was fast and the food, oh so delicious! My favorite dish was the grilled cod with onions and potatoes, just how my grandma makes it!“
“For those who like and want to enjoy a musical experience. A simple and welcoming place. The tavern keepers are the singers and create a very friendly atmosphere in the house. Definitely a place to return!
Vegetarian options: They serve several types of cheese and bread or garlic bread.
Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to cow's milk and one of the barkeeps went to get some water bread especially for me. They are very respectful of dietary restrictions.“

“When you enter a restaurant and everyone welcomes you with such a good vibe that they even change your chip, it is a good sign. We came to eat in battle because we were taking a flight in two hours. 24 euros (12 per head), a plate of breasts with gratin cheese and tomato and a salad with homemade fries (simple but delicious), a hamburger with all the possible sacraments and 3 Pepsi Zero. Good price, everything delicious and unbeatable treatment. I recommend it 100%.“

“We had dinner here twice when we were on holiday in Terceira. The place is very modern with attention to the smallest details. We ate freshly caught fish (given the proximity to the sea) which was very good and tasty. The only flaw is the slowness when receiving the menu, ordering and having the dish, I think due to the lack of organization in the dining room/kitchen. We were on holiday so it didn't matter much, we will definitely be back, and we recommend it!“

“(Translated by Google) Mini bakery, but mom actually still bakes here herself. Namely the one from the price tag. Very small shop, delicious baked goods, all very sweet, but I'll say it's a matter of taste. Attractively priced.(Original)Mini Bäckerei, aber hier backt die Mutti tatsächlich noch selber. “Great place, very authentic, delicious squid.
Many locals come here to eat, and it’s right in front of the airport.
The squid was absolutely delicious. The chicken burger was ok, I’d probably recommend getting one of the sandwiches, which have fresher bread. Or asking them to use the sandwich bread instead of the burger bread.“

“Similar to others, found this great cafe by walking a couple of blocks uphill from Hotel Zenite. Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and atmosphere was very much non-touristy-local (in a good way). My two young kids loved it here also. Give it a try.“

“5 minutes were enough for me to realize that there are few corners like this on the island. Place to relax, drink your good cold beer and put yourself in the hands of the waitresses so they can advise you on the most typical things about the place. If instead of stars it were scored in numbers, it would be a 10.“

“Simple, familiar and pleasant restaurant, which serves a buffet. The space and staff are super welcoming and the food is delicious, it feels like we're eating at our grandmother's house.
Today the buffet had rump, pork steaks, roast chicken, fried chicken, rice, French fries, salad and bread. The cost per meal is €10, without drinks.
(I can't help but mention that it was the cleanest and most fragrant restaurant bathroom I've ever been in...!)“

“We had an excellent experience at this restaurant.
The staff that served us was super friendly, available, attentive, and the food was delicious.
The space is pleasant and has covered parking, which is a big advantage.
We really liked it and found the prices to be appropriate.
I highly recommend it to everyone!“

“We got the tuna and regional steak instead of the chateaubriand “best cut of beef from the Azores” why? Other restaurants charge only €40-50 for 2 persons sides included and this was €75 for 2 persons which we felt was well above market price literally everywhere else. While the concept was cool, I do feel it is a bit touristy as no local would pay such prices and the food was good, but nothing amazing. Also they only have 3 wines to offer, no wine list. We got the mid grade Duroc wine and it was ok but also a bit too expensive for the quality in my opinion.
When wine prices are not on a menu and certain cuts of beef (chateaubriand for example are also listed to inquire it makes me feel the prices are completely made up). In fact it would be preferred if these were listed on a board to ensure every table is being charged the same, which I suspect may not be the case and that made me feel a bit sour along with the general overpriced nature of the food.“

“Service is sometimes slow, but it's a great place to go for a cocktail or a beer. I was a little disappointed that they didn't know the types of beer they sell there, but I was lucky and chose one that was delicious!
The cocktails are also good, and they know how to make a good gin and tonic.
More recently I went to dinner with a group of friends, the service lived up to expectations despite the food being a little salty.
Overall, I liked the red fruit sangria, as well as the different food.“

“Waren auf der Suche nach dem La Barca, Neandro's scheint der neue Name bzw. Inhaber des Restaurants zu sein. Super schönes Ambiente mit einem sehr zuvorkommenden Gastgeber. Essen war super lecker (Vorspeisen, Burger, Pasta, Dessert). Die Karte etwas unübersichtlich und schwer lesbar, da kann man noch nachbessern. Ansonsten würden wir hier jederzeit wieder her kommen!“

“I stopped at this cafe and decided to try a mixed sandwich that seemed to be very hard, since they don't have a toaster. I would like to point out that the employees threw out shorts. I'm still waiting for a new tooth and a HOT toast!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our traditional meal consisting of bread, cheese, wine, calde verde (kale soup), alcatra de vaca (beef stew), and dessert.
Our host couldn't have been nicer, more accommodating, or more generous with the food/wine!
And the place is like going back in time... in style. Rustic, with lots of antiques, but also chic and clean.“

“We went for our first lunch on the island. There were only local restaurants. We didn't eat but their desserts were in great demand. The environment is very friendly and casual. We ate swordfish, it was very good. The service was fast and friendly.“

“I discovered an exceptional grilled meat restaurant on Terceira island, near Praia da Vitória. The meat, grilled to perfection, tender and with a wonderful flavor. The restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and hospitable service added a special touch to the meal. An unmissable recommendation for anyone looking for authentic flavors of the Azores.“

Other places that do smaller lapas with nicer sause are better... The desert was very interesting. The place is nice as well as service...didnt try the main dishes so i dont know. The parking is by the road bit janky but ok.“

“We ended up in this taberna during our island hopping on Terceira. The map and the interior appealed to us as we walked past. And we were not disappointed!
Great wine recommendations with little stories. Plus tapas that just fit. So a big fat thumbs up from us ??! A must for a great evening. And the service was also extremely attentive. In the end, we wanted a good digestive and there was a recommendation for that that just fit. Please note: Figo - Local & really tasty.
LG to the entire crew“

“Good food, good service and very good air conditioning. If you don't make a reservation for dinner you can expect to wait between half an hour and an hour, at lunch time we found no problem. Just detail that they have a small extraction problem since you come out smelling like food, otherwise highly recommended.“

“We were there on Pentecost to taste and eat the most traditional meals in the Azores, especially the soup. As for the meat dish, it was very diverse and well presented.
A detail worth mentioning due to its importance:
If we wanted, this dish could be added if something was missing from it. At a time when it is impossible, in restaurants, to repeat anything
A round of applause for whoever directs A Ilha. Well done.“
