We were there on Pentecost to taste and eat the most traditional meals in the Azores, especially the soup. As for the meat dish, it was very diverse and well presented.
A detail worth mentioning due to its importance:
If we wanted, this dish could be added if something was missing from it. At a time when it is impossible, in restaurants, to repeat anything

This is a beautiful restaurant in a small quaint town. We went for lunch and there was only one other table occupied. We ordered a carafe of house wine and three appetizers. We had lapas (limpets) and fava beans and smoked grilled chirizo. All were outstanding. The server also offered us a large pot of vegetable soup, whîch was delicious. Much to our surprise the soup was complementary! We had plenty of food for a great lunch, and the entire check was well under 30 Euros. If...
