I loved the delicious food the good service very clean and a very reasonable price. Only thing I would have liked to see was that they had starters we asked for fresh cheese or any starters while waiting for the food. They did not have. Otherwise 5 stars. I recommend. ?
We went there for a birthday dinner and were greeted by Pedro at the door. He made us feel at home right away. The regional food, the house made wines and ports, the ambiance and the music were just wonderful. Pedro’s wife even made a birthday cake for me. This tiny restaurant hidden in an 18th century village was by far our favorite in Portugal! Pedro, the owner/chef, meets you at the door and you instantly feel like he’s inviting you into his home. You feel like you’ve stepped back in time to old Europe. From the moment you sit to when you leave Pedro is super attentive. Your drink is never dry and the homemade appetizers and varieties of wine just keep coming. Then there were the main courses which were a sight to see and taste. After all that there were the homemade desserts that were also amazing. Bravissimo Pedro!!
