This place has been recommended from someone who lives on Madeira. This has been the best bakery on the island. Quality and price wise: we had 2 drinks (coffee and fresh orange juice) and 3 pieces to eat and paid only 9,30 euro. The bakery pieces were fresh and still warm. Absolutely delicious: taste perfect, consistency perfect.

What a wonderfully inconspicuous pearl in the middle of nowhere. After a tracking tour we landed here and were able to thoroughly enjoy the specialties of Portugal. The coffee is still one of my top 10 in the world and I couldn't get enough of it. If you happen to pass by here, you should definitely stop and snack, you won't regret it. Stay away from tourist traps and try such small, inconspicuous bakeries for your stop. Price and quality are very important here!
