Goat Week in the municipality of Condeixa 2024, this establishment being a member, provided a completely negative service on the 5th of May, a table reserved for 1pm, at 2pm it was necessary to go and speak to the manager so that orders could be placed for 6 people. However, it took another 30 minutes for food to come for two people and another 15 minutes for food to come for the remaining 4 people, dessert had to be picked up at the counter. In short, I don't recommend it and I won't return to this establishment even for a coffee.

Only the turnip soup was worthy of being served. Tasty, with enough vegetables and hot.The dish was one to forget. Alheira was poorly prepared, the rice was tasteless and the traditional fries were not recommended. Bad wine.For the food served, ten euros turned out to be exaggerated.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the restaurants in the popular Matoshinos streets (R. Herois da Franca & Av Serpa Pinto) know how to cook the traditional Portuguese dishes but fall over when it comes to the bulk of staple fish dishes. I feel like they’re offering all these other fish dishes because it attracts the tourist trade. But I’m afraid you’ll find better cooked. tasting and more inventive seafood cuisine elsewhere and for a better price in Matoshinos & Porto. There are exceptions… We’ve had sardines every which way in the past but O’Filipe’s lightly tempura’d sardines were probably the best starter dish you could chose. Sublime. The green lipped mussels in a finely chopped parsley, onion & lemon vinaigrette were excellent. I’m sure the salted cod and rice dishes would be excellent choices too. Then it comes to the more staple dishes… The garlic prawns, cooked well enough in a light pimentao sauce but a tad dry. They don’t have the tenderness they should. Why I don’t know. The hake fillets with the Russian salad. Very nice salad but again the hake is a tad dry. I’ve had much better elsewhere. Desserts are simple but good. I really liked the interior restaurant atmosphere. Lot of Portuguese. Service was good. We’ll be back for the sardines, bachalau & rice dishes.
Visit during Week of the Goat 2023 with the family, try what they say is the best… The worst decision.The rooms were filling up, the two people serving didn't know what to do... Who arrived first, who asked for what... A real confusion. Friends and acquaintances seemed to have the usual priority. The others were for later, the worst services we've ever seen. The food itself took over an hour to arrive… Unacceptable! At this point, we just wanted to eat and leave. The appreciation of the goat's flavor and texture was even encouraging, however the rice was not giblets as we had expected. An experience not to be repeated…

Confesso que depois que efetuei a reserva, fui ler os comentários e fiquei preocupado diante de muitas reclamações. Mas foi totalmente ao contrário do que imaginava. Desde a recepção eu e minha família fomos muito bem recebidos por uma equipe altamente profissional e preparada. Check in realizado de forma rápida e eficiente. Quanto a hospedagem, recebemos uma acomodação limpa e organizada. O hotel passa por algumas obras mas em nada atrapalhou o nosso sossego, até porque temos consciência que o que esta sendo feito é para melhorar. Banheiro com uma ducha maravilhosa e café da manhã bom, com opções para todos os gostos. Certamente voltaria a me hospedar.
