The food was unreal! The service was absolutely excellent! The owner served us and his really one guy with more than just a passion. I've travelled the world, but this restaurant is my top pic. Going there is an experience that you will never forget, trust me! This should be in the top countries .

Group lunch made with reservation.
The restaurant was chosen specifically because it was not possible to reserve a table overlooking the bay. When we arrived, the table reserved for us was in the middle of the room, with no view.
Feathers and octopus with rice were the dishes on the group menu. Any of them far below expectations. Very dry and hard octopus, soggy rice.
The feathers weren't bad, but far from justifying the price of the meal.
Not even the dessert pleased.
It was a huge disappointment and far from justifying the 30 euros per person.

Dinner on a festive night in Seixal, starters promising a good meal, friendly staff asking for patience as the service was half an hour late.
I decided at a bad time to wait and an hour after the starters there was no drink or waitress, another half hour and no food and no smell after 90 minutes came to announce that one of the dishes was no longer available, and that the paella was getting ready. You come with completely roasted paella in a dose for two... only if they are parakeets, a dinner to regret that is worth 3, the first the only and last

I had dinner at Mundet on Saturday, July 6th, it was my birthday celebration! Everything was bad, poorly prepared food that was later replaced by something else.
Boss Macedo showed up once and was extremely rude. I still asked to speak to him but he never showed up again nor did he bother to go to the table and ask if everything was to our liking! He didn't do it because he knew what was sent to the table.
Nothing was right that day. Steak à Nicola was something to forget, let's not even talk about the octopus or the tuna.... we got away with the duck which is supposed to be for 2 people.
All the people I took to dinner that day were very impressed, in the end not even an apology, it was 00.00 and we hadn't even had coffee yet and they were already wanting us to pay the bill. In the end we had to go eat somewhere else because everyone was hungry, especially the children (the children's menu serves up to 3/4 years old, after that age you have to order 2 children's menu or the kids will go hungry).
Finally, a very nice terrace, great for a coffee, but for lunch and/or dinner I recommend the restaurants nearby.

In short: expensive and tasteless. Over-salted paella with pieces of dried mushrooms for 40 euros, tough meat for 60 euros. The only positive is a large selection of beer.

It was a spectacular end of the afternoon: the company of my friend Ana Bela, the unique space, the service and the view of the calm waters of Bahia do Seixal... I highly recommend it!

Pleasant space, with an outdoor area very exposed to the wind. Good Asian food with a varied offering. Very friendly and dedicated team.

I was there for a group dinner, it was really bad. I mean the food. I ate tomato rice with octopus that was chewing gum, everyone who chose this food complained about the same thing. Those who ate feathers said the meat was tough. The dessert, a mousse or cream with pineapple, was also not to my liking. Anyway, the space is nice, the staff are friendly, but I won't go back. We all paid €30. As I drank an aperitif while waiting for the group to arrive, I paid almost €40 for a poor quality dinner!
It was in fashion.
But beyond that, it really was a top restaurant.
The bar service lost quality, as did the table service and especially the kitchen.
Service and kitchen errors are flagged in an inconsequential manner.
With pleasant decor and atmosphere, in which the landscape of the bay in the serene late afternoon and high tide, provide fantastic colors and scenery.
Highlights include the shrimp curry and cider sangria.
Prices well above average (approx. €50/person).

Simply fantastic!
The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is 5 stars and the food is divine!
Chef João Macedo and his team managed to create dishes that make us travel when we put the food in our mouths.
This is the second time I've been there and I'll definitely be back again, because I want to try all the dishes on the menu and enjoy the restaurant's beautiful atmosphere.
I strongly advise you to live this magnificent experience.
Congratulations!!

Every trip to Mundet is like an explosion of flavors, a journey. Each dish has an inspiration and a story.
Starting with the starters, going through the dishes and ending with the desserts, the conversation ends when dinner is served and the journey begins.
Congratulations Chef Macedo for the gastronomic emotions you gave me. See you soon???
