After a long 7 years of a very pleasant visit, we returned with very high expectations. Unfortunately, with disappointment in the service mainly. After arriving punctually at the reservation time, but unfortunately some of the guests were late, I was at the table alone for almost 20 minutes. During those 20 minutes, no one came to the table to place an order, even though I called the attendants twice. I ate nothing while waiting. After arrival, it took another 15 minutes to assist us. After the 3 ordered dishes arrived, the fish were tasty, but one of them, the 600g sea bream, I thought was small. The linguini with eggplant was tasty, but the puff pastry had no flavor. Dessert, passion fruit cheesecake was excellent. Overall, what stood out the most was the service, I don't know if this careless manner is usual, I hope not, as the restaurant is good, but the service, this time and for us, was a very negative point.

Lunch with friends! It is a restaurant with a slightly above average price but it makes up for it in the quality of the dishes (fresh, varied and well prepared). The grills are delicious! I strongly advise.

We found the Taberna do Sousa by chance when we wanted to explore Seixal. A charcoal grill was set up in front of the inconspicuous restaurant and fish was being grilled on it. That's what attracted us and we didn't regret it: the type of potato on offer was very tasty. I would have preferred the rich vegetables (broccoli, cabbage and carrots) with a sauce, but everything was crunchy. The highlight and trigger of this review was of course the freshly grilled fish (bream or sea bass).The ambience: simple, typical of the country.

Great quality food in relation to the price, I just didn't like the part where around 15 people came in singing to ask for money, but I don't think that happens regularly, the service was quick but it was difficult to ask for something after having I ordered my meal because they were always busy, otherwise I found it very pleasant, it is located in a beautiful place where you can take a walk after lunch
