It has a very typical Alentejo decoration but with beautiful paintings. Very professional and friendly service. I advise you to try it. Only those with reduced mobility should enter through the more accessible door at the back. The owner is a very friendly man who we ended up talking to. Very familiar and attentive. 5*****

We loved it...everything was wonderful, dogfish broth, gazpacho with fried horse mackerel, migas with fried meat...the sweets, sericaia, egg pudding, cream cheese tart and biscuit cake and to finish off the best service from Carlota Isabel... I recommend everything

During our stay in Serpa we decided to try the ????? ?????́ ????... and thank goodness! ?
We started with the starters, which were bread, olives and some tasty cracklings, very different from those we usually eat in the Algarve! Very good!
Continuing with the starters, we also ordered some Peixinhos da Horta and a delicious, and well served, Dogfish Soup, which we decided to share between the three of us and which turned out to be enough for four! ?
The rest of our meal was a Lamb Stew, a Black Pork Kebab and Chicken Steaks with Crumbs, which weren't on the menu but they did me the favor of making me, as I said I couldn't eat red meat!
We just ordered a liter and a half of water to drink and half a liter of house red wine, which is very quality.
At the end there was also a fantastic Cream Milk and an Encharcada, which was divine! We finished our meal with 3 coffees!
Good and cheap, everything served with great friendliness! A place where we can go without hesitation! ;)

My experience was not the most pleasant, there was no friendliness from the waiters, they were asked to turn on the air conditioning, the waitress showed that she was unhappy with turning it on when it was 30 degrees. And for Alentejo food that you can't go wrong with, we were very disappointed, we took some friends who weren't Portuguese to visit Alentejo and I felt ashamed. I don't recommend it. For a restaurant with so many reviews, I wasn't expecting it.

Very disappointed with this restaurant, when I saw the reviews I thought it would be a pleasant experience but far from it, the food is very expensive for the quality it has, the employees were all extremely unfriendly, one of the worst sangrias I've ever had, and when we criticized the sangria with the waitress, she explains that they are not the ones who make the sangria but rather order it already made, I can't understand how a restaurant that charges me €18 for a reasonably reasonable dish charges me €15 for a sangria I order, anyone today Nowadays they make a minimally good sangria, but that one is horrible, and then the food is very expensive for the price charged, the only thing I can praise are the fries and the migas which are good, I can't understand how this establishment is so highly rated.

I didn't like it, as soon as I arrived it was hot and they didn't have the air conditioning on, I wasn't greeted by the employees. The sangria was very bad, after not being satisfied I asked the waitress how it was made and she replied that she bought it already made and then added sprit, and it costs 15 euros, the food is nothing special. Very high values for quality. I don't recommend it, I suggest other better options with fairer prices.
