“This is a late review, I was here in 2022, and definitely a great place to visit, the food was great and it felt all home made, the service was also good, I made reservations and so glad I did because the moment I arrived, the restaurant started to get busy, it was dinner and yes it might feel like is in the middle of nowhere, we had a great experience. Overall, I recommend this place. Oh, and our waiter was very nice to call us a taxi, Uber didn't work in that area.”

We have never experienced such wonderfully authentic Indian food before - the flavours were on a different level.

It is so far removed from the commercial, stodgy “Indian” food we remember back in the UK - this is so very different - a true flavour of the Punjab - made with love and served by kind hearts.

There was a very warm welcome at the door, a thoughtful explanation of all the dishes ( including the Punjabi origins, the ingredients/spices, the recommended combinations, the wines etc ) and excellent service throughout the meal - it really was quite memorable.

The starters of the Onion Bhaji and Gol Gappa Chaat were truly outstanding and set our expectations for the mains. We were not disappointed! The layers of flavour in the Honey Cauliflower and Butter Chicken were amazing - all washed down with a few glasses of chilled Alentejo wine.

“One of the best sushi in the country, just outside the center of Peniche.
We went to Peniche for a weekend with family. In conversation with friends, they recommended Miyabi Sushi to us - and what an excellent recommendation!
Let's start with Rodrigo: an excellent surfer, chef and owner, very friendly, with excellent recommendations during our meals (one for dinner, one for lunch).
This sushi is something to eat and cry for more. The combinations are incredible, different and very fresh. The temakis and Miso Soup are not far behind: perhaps one of the best soups I've eaten outside of Japan. For connoisseurs, like me, Wasabi is very strong but extremely tasty.
We also highlight Japanese tea, made with the best possible matcha.
The room is very well decorated and is very welcoming.
We felt at home, and we will certainly return.

I recommend the pineapple-basil lemonade which was great.
For the dishes I was able to try the pork ramen (the presentation and taste were top notch), I have rarely been able to eat one this good.
The sushi/makis (fusion) were the best I've tried in Portugal (in the few Japanese restaurants I've been able to try), including the all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant in Calas da Rainha which didn't convince me.
The salmon bao was excellent (even if it's not strictly speaking a Japanese dish).”

We were advised by an employee and unfortunately it was a hard cake that didn't fit in at all with the good experience we had had with the meal. Avoiding the typical restaurants full of tourists in the middle of July and tremendous queues, it has a terrace outside and since it was sunny we asked to be able to enter with our dog, inside a great table, and with water for the dog. Good fish, served with its garnish, everything very clean, and the staff excellent. If I come back on vacation here I will come back”
