Had a great night here a couple of weeks ago and was recommended by a friend who lives in the village. You would probably not come across this fantastic wine bar/restaurant on your own but if you are staying praia del rey area well worth a visit. Joao the owner takes care of you and all the food is fresh authentic Portuguese cuisine . We had a fantastic night in here and there was 11 of us. Highly recommended

First of all, the service... Fantastic! Friendliness, readiness and above all a sense of humor. Restaurant full and even so, only the owner, managed everything and with perfectly acceptable timing. As for food, we ate Francesinha. I say, with knowledge of the facts, that it is - in the West - the best francesinha of the more than 20 francesinhas I ate in the West. Taco by taco with those from the (now closed) Camaroeiro Real in Caldas da Rainha. We also ate the seasoned goat cheese which was very good. Very affordable prices for today's reality. I RECOMMEND!
