About the restaurant, excellent atmosphere by the river, a good terrace, fantastic food at a modest price. Maranho and tripe are some of the best I've ever eaten, the sausages and cheeses are divine. “Very good food, very good price and quality.
Less good points, I traveled 200km before going there, I called to reserve a table and was told that they didn't make reservations, after I got there I had to wait 1h30m for a table, then the service was very unprofessional and unfriendly.
But without a doubt many congratulations to the cooks, the food was wonderful.

“Okay... This is going to be interesting today.
The food was EXCELLENT I repeat... EXCELLENT. Nothing to point out, the kitchen is worthy of a Michelan star, divine black pork tusks, divine black pork cheeks and a leg of milk lamb with potatoes in the oven that leaves us asking for more, the desserts (Panacota with red fruits and Tiramisú followed the recipe and nothing to point out, many congratulations)
The employee Nilton with a 5 STAR attitude yes he deserves the 5 ?????
Now let's start to descend unfortunately.
Lili, the employee who never stopped being friendly, however, made amateur mistakes
1st asked if we wanted dessert while one of us was eating the main course.
2nd I asked for an old brandy, and she asked if she was sure if the brandy was the same as the price was very high (12 €) because according to her it was the Manager who had given her directions to ask me (in these cases you should bring the wine and spirits list to avoid this type of embarrassment)
3° The same employee (I don't know if in this case it was her fault) brings us the bill for another table (77€) which if I were a scoundrel person the house would be at a loss as I paid 101€ (an amount for which I have nothing to point out because the food was worth that amount) and I even left a tip because Nilton deserves it.
4th.... and finally.... The same employee brings me the bill with the wrong taxpayer number ?????, she tried to remedy the situation by getting my cell phone number and that she would send me the invoice with the correct number. ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️.
It could have been 5 stars (easily.... I swear.... really very easily.) but no ?“

A varied and abundant starter table where cheese reigns?, with plenty of pasta, cold salads, pizzas, savory snacks, etc. On the hot table the variety continues. We had at our disposal Portuguese stew, suckling pig, cod with cream, duck rice, oven-baked chicken, grilled dishes, etc. To conclude this meal, we enter the sweets and fruit table where the party of choices continues. All this accompanied with juices, wine and water. As it was a Sunday there was live music, discreet enough not to disturb the meal. Even with a full house, the service provided by Andreia was good.
