An idyllic place with great service. The waiters tried very hard to understand us even though we didn't speak Portuguese. Great food and at a more than reasonable price

This establishment only loses with the service provided by the staff... They take the dishes to the table with their fingers inside the plates, slow, friendly... anyway

The chanfana is the best I've eaten to date.

I usually come to this restaurant for lunch during the summer. Good atmosphere but I usually have to wait in line as it is often full. Good quality food and well served.

Very good food, very good price and quality.
Less good points, I traveled 200km before going there, I called to reserve a table and was told that they didn't make reservations, after I got there I had to wait 1h30m for a table, then the service was very unprofessional and unfriendly.
But without a doubt many congratulations to the cooks, the food was wonderful.

I recommend:
Maranho and steak at home.

For the second attempt, I returned to this restaurant, after things hadn't gone well last year. I'll start by suggesting a ticket dispenser since they don't make reservations on busy days and to protect "smart chic" customers from getting ahead of others. Regarding our second experience in this restaurant, it didn't go well either, at 2pm they no longer had lamb, we had to opt for stewed veal, which wasn't bad at all, it's a shame it was cut in the ham, but in the meantime when we placed the order and it wasn't However, we had to wait for the waitress to take the order for two more tables that arrived after us.
What was our surprise when we were the last to be served.
NOT TO BE REPEATED FOR SURE.
But apparently, also for this management, 1 more customer or 1 less doesn't matter.

Initial service could be improved if appointments were made by a single person.

The Maranhos for my family and friends are the best in the region.

I've already bought maranhos in Lisbon in specialty stores, but they're not comparable.

Thank you to the team that makes them
