Fantastic traditional Portuguese restaurant in Sesimbra, offering great dishes from local fish, at reasonable prices. The Salada de Polvo was the best I have ever eaten. A huge amount of marinated octopus, with some marinated vegetables like cauliflower and carrots. The Choco Frito (fried Cuttlefish) was equally great, one of the best I have eaten - and I have eaten Choco Frito in many places! The Vinho Verde a Pressão was great and inexpensive. The views towards the ocean do not make it any worse. In total a great experience. For only EUR 30.

The crab seemed to be a mixture of several types of meat, not just crab. The gilho prawns and swordfish were excellent.
Wonderful little place to eat and enjoy traditional food. We had sopa de legumes and sopa de mariscos, both very good. The choco Frito is great as the kids loved it. Great value for the food served.

The prawns were cooked to perfection, with a rich and flavourful garlic sauce that was simply irresistible. I highly recommend pairing them with bread to soak up every last drop of the delicious sauce – it's a match made in culinary heaven.
The atmosphere at Taverna Alfacinha is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a wonderful experience.
