Honestly. Everyone glorified this restaurant. I’ve been the past 2 years and I just don’t see it. Each time we have gone, we have been made to feel almost like we are not wanted to be there? Owner/servers are not friendly despite waiting long times and prioritizing their restaurant. They are entitled and know that people will wait. I’ve eaten across the Mediterranean and all around Europe and honestly, it’s nothing to rave about, I don’t see the hype. Food taste good, nothing extraordinary, but the service ruins it.

I visited this place today. I have never eaten better grilled fish in my life. Plus wonderful shrimps, salad and potatoes. The men grill the fish in front of you and season it only with sea salt. If you are in Sesimbra you must visit this wonderful place!

August 1, 2024, we went thinking from the reviews that it would be an unforgettable place and it was, but on the negative side, the waiters are listless as if they don't want to live, the fish is fresh but it took them more than 1 hour to bring us 2 sardines and a salmon, while they give you a bite of some prawns, some fish eggs, salad and some boiled potatoes that they charge you without you asking, but since they take so long to bring the order you eat whatever appears on the table, you can't pay by card, you pay with a bill in paper and pen without specifying anything, people queuing to enter, to end up sitting on a stool where you can hardly fit next to those at the next table, if this is the best place to Eating fish makes me afraid to think about others, we will not return nor would we recommend it to anyone, honestly, a disappointment. People praise that it is fresh fish but it is the least you can expect from a place specialized in fish, without it being a merit that they do not deceive you with the product.

Establishment with very unfriendly, rude employees, swearing in front of customers, including children. They shout at each other, not at all receptive when customers arrive. Very poor organization and bad atmosphere for a family meal. I don't advise it. Completely soft sardines and only half of the order was used. Not to be repeated in the coming years as we spend our holidays in Sesimbra every year.
