I love the atmosphere of the restaurant! It really reminds me of a tavern, living up to its name. The terrace is also very nice for warmer days. Among the appetizers, my favorites were the cod tempura - reminiscent of dreams but savory, the sardine torricado - the combination with the red onion on the crispy toast was great and the fried cuttlefish - a must-try in the region. In terms of dishes, the house's strong point is grilled meats, which is why the T-bone is ideal for sharing. For desserts, I recommend the pajama, which gives you the opportunity to try several and is worth it.

Everything is great, correct attention at all times, attentive to the times between dishes. As soon as you walk in you know that whatever you order is going to be delicious. Everything homemade: we ordered, Salada Ibérica (salad), Tempura de bacalhau (like gabardine shrimp but stuffed with cod), ovos rotos de bacalhau (pan-type of broken eggs), picanha (small thinly cut beef fillets) and poste Toucinho de ceu (like a juicy sponge cake with almond pieces). There were other restaurants nearby that didn't give us a good impression....and here we were right. ??Highly recommended.
