Great experience, both with the waiters, super friendly (they apologized several times for taking a little longer because they had a lot of work) and with the cooks and chef, who made a delicious and abundant meal. I have been trying takoyaki in many cities in my country (Spain) and until now I had not tried any better than those from another restaurant. They are well worth it, although be careful, they are very hot, but perfect. Thank you very much for the kindness and good vibes of the entire team!

An incredible experience ? I went to dinner here with my boyfriend and we are big fans of takoyaki, they were very delicious, the best we have ever tried!!! Spectacular Yakisoba and Thai rice, to repeat 100% All very nice guys, you can tell that they are professionals and treat customers well, the prices correspond to the quality of the food and the teamwork, thank you very much! If we go through Setubal again, we already know that here is the best Japanese restaurant in the city. Very brave!

I discovered Casa Japonesa through friends, they said wonderful things about the food, the space and the staff. I decided to try it... I was captivated by the intimate atmosphere, the explosion of flavors, I confess that each dish makes me travel to an incredible atmosphere! Flavors you’ve never tried before, is it more expensive? Yes, but because the care, flavor and presentation of the dishes are unique, we leave with a feeling of satisfaction that lasts and makes us want to come back more often. I'm not exaggerating, try the crab and chicken bao... good luck not getting addicted! Thank you Japanese House.

I could not recommend this place enough! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home and at ease. Rui, one of the 2 owners, was incredibly warm and welcoming and helped us with a few suggestions on what we could eat as well as being very attentive! He also spent time talking to us which made the experience feel even more personal.
We had a selection of sushi, sashimi and gankans (the smoked eel and scallop were amazing) and the wine selection was also just as good!
Would 100% recommend this place as a cosy, lunch or evening meal with exceptional food and service! Até a proxima Rui!

I went to this establishment on the initiative of a friend, together with another, and the three of us went to dinner in this space. It is relatively far from the busiest area (Avenida Luísa Todi), which makes parking easier. It is a small space, giving a more intimate and close touch, with a welcoming decor and atmosphere, but it was in the competence and professionalism of the team that Casa Japonesa's greatest asset lies. The price is significantly higher than in other places in the city, but considering the quality of the gyozas, sushi, gunkans and even the house sangria and chocolate mousse, it was completely worth it. Note that, although it is not a food that I would think of highlighting in this restaurant, the chocolate mousse was absolutely delicious - as I am a regular fan of this delicacy, it was probably one of the best I have ever tasted in my life. Congratulations to the entire team and we hope to be able to repeat the experience, maintaining the level of satisfaction, more often.
