Everything you can have in traditional Portuguese cuisine. Typical friendliness of the city of Setúbal.

Don't have to eat anymore, no more shopping, no more dishes, you'll have lunch there for a little more than 10 euros, it's homemade

My parents brought me there because they like to eat with the locals and I could not recommend this restaurant more!Simple but excellent food. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll come on the day of the Dorada and have a delicious, barbecued fish. The duck rice is also amazing, so much so that I asked one dish to take away. The service is very simple. Don’t go in there expecting a one-star Michelin service. But it’s quick and efficient. Definitely try to speak a little bit of Portuguese to avoid misunderstanding. My one and only point of discontent is this poor bird locked in a cage by the entrance. I know this is a tradition in Portugal (and other countries) but for God’s sake, please let the bird fly.

It's a traditional Portuguese tasca. Menu do dia for lunch is 10 euros which consists of a fish or meat dish, a drink and a dessert with coffee. Bread and olives are also included as a starter. Locals seem to frequent this place. The portions are of a regular size. We found the food fresh and tasty. On the pictures: cozido a portuguesa (available only on Thursdays) and grilled dourada.
