Nice bar and restaurant in a shady and open area. Unique selection of drinks and meals, emphasis on use of the local Moscatel fortified wine. Pleasant atmosphere outside but beware of pigeons and beggars. Had lunch and cocktails here; delicious.Other reviewers have remarked on the use of Spotify (free version) as background music here, it's not acceptable.
The service was very friendly and acceptable towards foreigners. The menu was pretty generic, but the pasta and hamburger tasted quite well. Smoking is allowed, so that was unfortunate due to the smell.It's a pretty simple and bland setup, but the chairs are in the shadows. Pleasant selection of muscat and good coffee, the beer is not always the best. Note that the asking price for the muscatel is very high, 3 muscat almost pays for 2 entire bottles, I paid €8.25 for the 3.
