It's perfect if you're looking for an affordable restaurant with grilled fish. Super cheap prices, simple preparations. It is a menu of the day format with local workers. It is best to arrive at 12:30 to request a table as it is normal to have to wait a little for a place. The wait is worth it. (There is a baby changing table in the women's bathroom).
We tried the restaurant on the 2nd of January, so we were conditioned in relation to the menu, especially with regard to fresh fish - responsible for the restaurant's good name. In any case, we tried the Algarve-style squid and the fried cuttlefish (both accompanied by homemade fries and so tasty, I haven't had them in a restaurant in a long time). The squid and cuttlefish were very tender. The roast cod, served with boiled potatoes, was also good, as were the tuna belly...
A lovely fish place, very popular with locals and quite busy on a Saturday. Meals are very reasonable priced and fresh, the staff is very kind. I have passed this restaurante many times and now that I've tried it, I'll be back for sure.
