A hidden gem in Setubal. You wouldn't think pizza, kebab and Indian food could be done at this level of quality. Paminder, our courteous, kind and knowledgeable server made our dinner experience top with his generosity and can do attitude. Hats off to the chef as well, the food (Indian & pizza) was delicious - flavorful and quality ingredients. We stayed at Novotel and it was an easy walk there and back. Highly recommend.

Sunday lunch on a chilly day. Nice place with outside eating (but situated on a busy street) just simple, clean decor, & clean bathroom . Service by Parminder in Portuguese and English was polite, friendly and helpful. He double checked if any of the breads were vegan (roti- yes!) and he checked our chili heat preference! We had warm, non-greasy, crunchy papads (poppadums) with chutneys, canecas in ice chilled glasses (always a plus!), a chicken dish & 2 vegan dishes, cumin rice and breads. Enough to take home for another meal. The aubergine Baingan Bartha was different to other restaurants and extremely good. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: A good selection of vegetarian options of which many are vegan. Dairy (ghee) isn't used for cooking.
Parking: Street parking. Could be tricky depending on day / time of day. We easily found parking on Sunday lunchtime.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible restaurant and outside eating but toilets are small area.

A restaurant with good food, reasonable prices, and great service, offering excellent value for money.The mango specialty drink is extremely delicious. I decided to order an additional glass. Although the salad itself was already well seasoned, the waiter was considerate enough to bring salad dressing for us to add according to our personal taste. In addition to the salad, we also ordered prawn pakora as an appetizer, which came with three different sauces. Personally, I prefer the tomato sauce, while my husband likes the mint sauce. The fried rice is fragrant and has a delightful texture. The addition of curried potatoes and beef (I requested it to be less spicy, and it was just perfect) gives it a rich and flavorful taste. Apart from the delicious food, the service was attentive, taking care of our preferences and serving time. We had a delightful dining experience, and it is definitely worth recommending?

On our last evening in Setùbal, we were hoping to find a good meal for dinner. We were staying at Hotel Cristal, and searched for a restaurant within easy walking distance. We are so glad we took a chance and walked the 15 minutes to the Soshi Pizza Hub. As an American, I will say the name of the restaurant isn’t that enticing, but that shortcoming is on me.We were delighted to find a clean and well illuminated establishment with an inviting ambience and welcoming personnel. We were quickly seated and given menus. We do not eat meat, however sea food is a good choice for us in addition to veggies, and the Sodhi Pizza Hub had many choices between seafood and vegetarian dishes to satisfy.We began with an appetizer of Onion Bhaji, warm, crispy and delightfully seasoned little pastries of falafel like cakes with onions. Our attentive waiter delivered these Bhaji with a trio of wonderful dipping sauces including a spicy pickle and carrot sauce, tamarind sauce and a mint-yoghurt sauce. All were delicious and we enjoyed trying to decipher the various flavors.For our main meal, we shared the Prawn Mushroom entree, mushroom rice, and garlic nan. All dishes were very attractive to behold. The Prawn Mushroom was served in a small hot pot with warming candle. Tender and juicy prawns and mushroom pieces in a flavorful and thick tomato based reduction. The sauce was rich and flavorful, having been carefully and expertly slow cooked for hours no doubt to achieve this level of depth.The basmati mushroom rice was likewise perfectly prepared with mushroom pieces and lightly seasoned with both fresh cilantro and bay leaf, making it the perfect accompaniment with the Prawn/Mushroom entree’s rich sauce.The nan was a fine combination of crisp and soft, also appropriately seasoned and perfect for scooping up the remaining Prawn gravy.We enjoyed red wine and water with our meal. Afterwards, the waiter offered us an after dinner shot of Indian Whiskey, a beverage which we were previously unfamiliar, however finding it a nice cap on a delicious meal. We only wish we had discovered the Sodhi Pizza Hub on our first night in Setùbal, as we certainly would have gone here each night.
