We were looking for a good location for a birthday dinner today, so we found this one :) at first sight we were a bit skeptical but as soon as we arrived we were so happy to found this restaurant! :)
as an indian-food lover i can say that this was the best indian food i’ve ever had!
also I had the feeling that they put so much love into the restaurant and as well in their food!
we would definitely come back. ?

A little hard to spot as it is up a set of stairs on the first floor and signage is easy to pass. Once in there it is clean, open, airy and simply decorated. They serve alcohol and take electronic payment. We were only interested in the Indian food but the menu was vast with offerings from all over the world. There are 2 pages of vegetarian dishes. We asked about the vegan options. They have prepared a separate vegan menu but you have to ask for it. We asked if the onion bhaji was cooked in same oil as the chicken and they said yes. Be aware of this however Ricki the server said they would cook it separately if we wanted. Very grateful for this kind attention! The bhaji was too pasty (moist) in the middle for our liking but was tasty nonetheless. I chose Tarka Dal made with yellow split peas and it was superb. My partner had spicy fish masala (recommended by Ricki) which he loved (it's hard to get curried fish here). He ordered garlic naan and we loved the garlic rice. There is only naan on the bread menu. With poppadums and 2 canecas of Heineken just under €40. Ricki's service was pleasant and helpful and in English! A strange location but totally worth a visit.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and vegan options for the more discerning!
Dietary restrictions: Vegan menu available
Kid-friendliness: We saw highchairs

Had masala curry, rice, nun and water: over €17. Very average and expensive. Disappointing, to be honest given the reviews. Service was friendly and restaurant was clean and simple.

This is THE best Indian restaurant in Setubal. My family and I have tried three other Indian restaurants in town, and Singh Food House, tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood, is the best by far. Everything we've ordered has been so flavorful. Just outstanding! One of my favorites, so far, is the vegetable karahi along with the garlic rice. Do yourself a favor and order the garlic rice. It's so good! The naan is also very delicious. We love the cheese and garlic naan as an appetizer and the plain or garlic naan with dinner for dipping. They have vegan, and gluten-free options along with the requisite veggies, meats, and fish. They also serve western-style foods like pizza and burgers, but we have not tried them yet. I'm sure they are also very good. The dining room is welcoming and very pleasant, capable of hosting larger parties. The service is also outstanding. Our server has always been Ricky, and he is very knowledgable about the food and is very kind and attentive. His brother is the talented chef and we always feel the food is cooked with care and fresh ingredients. There is something for everyone in this gem of a restaurant!

The food is good, and it doesn't have the raucous aspect of most Indians I know... some level of English is advisable as I got the feeling that the guy wasn't completely comfortable with Portuguese...

I love the whole area! The food was amazing and the service was astonishing! Also tip for everyone: remember to speak English!
Parking: Lots of parking spaces near most of the time! Although I do normally walk there...
Kid-friendliness: Absolutely! I'm 13 and this place has quality food and descriptions for children alike!
Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly it's elevated by stairs so it's not very good for wheelchairs but there isn't much to do about that since the whole building is elevated!
