I had a vegetarian menu and was very impressed with how much they adapted the menu. I didn’t feel like I was missing out at all with every dish feeling similar/comparable to my partner who was eating meat and fish. There was one course that was disappointing and had too much salt for my taste, but overall an outstanding experience with far more food than is on the menu!! 6 courses was more like 10.

Magical experience. Everything was perfect. Well thought out. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The attention to detail was one point. A well deserved star along with the green michelin star.
Worth the hype and the trip. We had the 8 moments. Along with alcohol free cocktails.

Irreproachable. I loved it and want to go back soon. It was one of the best fine dining experiences I've ever had. The dishes, the presentation, the cadence of the moments, the pairing with the wonderful house wines and the service were perfect. Special note to the staff who managed to be formal without being uncomfortable or distant. By the middle of the meal they were laughing with us and we felt like friends. Couldn't ask for better!

Wow. First, the view from the restaurant is stunning. It’s a carpet of vineyards and lavender as far as the eye can see. And the food is, on the main, divine. We did the 6 Moments tasting menu, but it was really more like 10 courses! We LOVED the surprise opening courses featuring Peas, and then Beets. Vegetable perfection. While there were a couple of bites we didn’t care for (the horse mackerel just wasn’t to my taste, or was the cod), the wine pairings presented by our rockstar server Luis were some of the best of my life.
Who pours 2018 rosé of touriga nacional? Mesa de Lemos does and it was perfection with an asparagus/smoked eel situation.
At about €190 including tip, it was a food and wine adventure well worth it.
Pro tip: you can Iber there easily, but arrange for a taxi at the end of the night as Ubers drivers just can’t find the place. Our server was our hero for helping get us a taxi.

We have been fortunate to eat at some of the world’s best restaurants and the food at Mesa de Lemos was exciting, well executed and flavourful. The staff led by Luis were precise and attentive but refreshingly informal whilst 100% professional.
From the completely bare table on arrival to the marvellous wave of pre starters and amusé we were on the edge of our seats enjoying every moment and that was before the menu commenced! The wines all produced on site at the winery were of excellent quality and each had a back story.
I do not jest when I say the meal exceeded a very recent 3* meal in London and at nearly 1/3rd of the price.
The local inspectors must have a very high bar to not award a second star.

Restaurant with a price above €100 per person, which is acceptable given the top of the restaurant.
We ate the complete chef's suggestion + wine supplement

For a restaurant with 1 Michelin star I expected more, the food was well prepared but without any surprise factor. But the service, completely disappointing, a lack of professionalism for the restaurant category, starting with the chef who doesn't even deign to go by the tables to see if everything is ok, for a dinner costing €200, I expected more. but something even better, serving the wine even if drops run out of the glass, no one has the decency to clean it or apologize, what for, we have our napkin to do it, maybe they thought I was part of the team. I would also add that the wine PAIRING I did was the worst, maybe it would be better to start asking if the person likes it or not, when we leave the wine in the glass, maybe there could be a reason, I say but it's just a suggestion because after all accounts I pay €55 for a pairing. AND AT THE LEAST, OFFER WATER. A shame. In fact, they are not up to par with the place, the space that has very beautiful architecture.

We liked it a lot, they could just change the musical repertoire, some songs more suitable for the environment... jazz, yes... they only played nature music, it made me a little sleepy...

Vegetarian options: Many dishes based on wonderful, organic and local vegetables
