You can't go wrong with francesinha no matter how much they change the original recipe. This one is different and feels lighter because of the bread they use but the sauce isn't great and in my opinion the sauce is what makes the francesinha special. The Belgian beer that they have (La Trappe) pairs well with the food
The place is very welcoming and beautiful. I went for dinner on a Saturday, so I had to wait an hour to be seated, nothing unusual and I was promptly informed that the waiting time would exceed 40 minutes. What I didn't find normal was the 1 hour waiting time to eat a francesinha. Cute little place. Delivers on the name. I'm not the biggest fan of a francesinha but my friends said it was great. My prego was good too. The staff were helpful with our friend's baby.
