I had never waited 2 hours to be served, on top of that the food was quite basic and nothing special, the waiters were rude and unprofessional, I would recommend hiring staff with at least the desire to work, a shame Even so, more than 40 minutes for the bill, all bad, what I enjoyed most was the Coca Cola in what the owner's friends call "the best restaurant in Silves"

Long waiting time, unprofessional employee, environment full of flies.After waiting more than 35 minutes for the food, everything arrived full of eyes, very dry chicken and little quantity, I don't recommend it.

Short staffed and rude waiters. If possible, go to Churrasqueira Valdemar.We went here because there was a que at Churrasqueira Valdemar (next door). We tried to talk to one of the waiters about a table for 8 people, he walked past us several times and just pointed at the terrace that it was full. However, there were several tables free, just not next to one another. We proposed to have two several tables and pointed at the terrace again. Some people on the terrace also seemed surprised by the way we were being treated and laughed about it. After trying several times we walked away.

We had lunch here. Traditional portuguese food that was excellent. Service was also excellent. We couldn't understand why there was a lineup at the restaurant next door, not here. We highly recommend avoiding the lineups and coming here instead!

Very rich grilled chicken and pork with clams. Attention and service from 10. Grilled fish had very good looks and there were sardines. Chocolate mouse from the best of the Algarve

We ate grilled sardines with chips and salad, all for 10 euros. And piri piri chicken (slightly spicy dish).There is a good quality price relation. Fast service. Recommendable.

The sardines are frozen at this time, however, impeccable, the fish is well roasted. Cool and attentive guys, very acceptable quality/price... I don't give it 5 stars because the medronho is not the most aromatic. But well worth the visit.

Unlike Valdemau beside it U Monchiqueiro does not offer as many extras – beverage, cover etc. Their basic price is a bit less and but you will pay extra for your beverage and cover. We had the piri piri chicken for 2 and it is a larger serving than what we had at Valdemau. It wasn’t overcooked. The service was decent. They did give us oranges for dessert. For us it was better value simply because we had more chicken and for me it was edible.
