“Cracking spot a bit away from the tourist trail. Ugo could not have been more charming, gracious and helpful. Husband gor an Aberdeen Angus burger and I, a chicken one. They were huge, though we'll presented. Came with fries, also excellent and wonderfully chilled beers. Ugo and the team were very attentive, friendly and warm. Many of the better known Silves tourist restaurants would do well to take note!“

“We found this address in le petit futé.
And fortunately we followed the advice because there were few people, but frankly, a menu of the day for €12 is worth it!
Good welcome, typical restaurant with Portuguese decor, simple and traditional dishes, cold beer, inexpensive wine, terrace in a small street
In short: only positive for us“

“We stumbled on this place after being refused entry to another as they were too busy - this restaurant was quiet so we were not sure but how wrong were we? Husband had the meat platter on a hot stone and I had the fish on the hot stone Amazing food will definitely call again if get chance“

“Real Portuguese home cooking. Locals go there to eat or take food to go. Monday to Saturday 2 inexpensive dishes each, as a menu with a drink (e.g. white wine, red wine) and dessert plus coffee for 10-12€, a starter soup for a small surcharge of 2€. We recommend“

“I came upon Lendas e Mitos on my visit to Silves. The food was excellent. I got a sandwich, soup, desert and coffee all under 10 euros. The lady who work at the restaurant was friendly and able to communicate with me in English. I sat outside since it was a nice day. The area was clean and quiet.“

“Dish of the day very homemade, abundant and very well priced. We stopped en route to stretch our feet and eat something.Local truckers and workers stop siteThe dish of the day was beef stew which was really good. It was accompanied by a mixed salad and French fries. I admit that it was difficult for me to finish my ration and that I have a very good serve. The bathrooms do need a good update.
Parking: It is in a service area and there are no parking problems.“

“Restaurant with a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. Every day there is a huge variety of homemade food for all tastes, but it is always very well prepared and fresh. They always have a variety of salads and desserts, as well as having a good space for those who come with children and need space for strollers. For smokers, there is a pleasant shaded terrace.“
“To be honest kidnap them all. Family run restaurant. One of the best kept secrets (for tourists) in the area. Its not on the tourist path and doesnt need to be because the locals are here every day. The dishes are uniquely Portuguese however different from anything you'll find anywhere else. Come early to get a spot. Has lovely outdoor seating beneath hanging grapes overlooking the stream. ALSO UNVACCINATED FRIENDLY.“
“Separate veg menu with a good range of dishes, soya milk available. Portuguese tofu was nice in a tangy sauce served with rice, salad and grilled veg. Good serving size. Relaxed atmosphere sat outside. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-27“

“Excellent Portuguese family restaurant. All in simplicity. The boss comes to show us his choice of fresh fish. We're going to choose our desserts from the fridge. Like at home ! Too friendly. and everything is excellent. It feels like our grandparents' house, right down to the chocolate mousse, the real one! Lovely welcome. Bright and friendly waitress yet she only speaks Portuguese and we don't have a word! The exchange was so funny! Thanks everyone!
An address to keep. :)“
