This might be my favorite dining experience of all time. The food and service are THAT good.
Came here after a long road trip and honestly wasn't expecting much other than to eat and move on.
First, the hospitality is just off the charts. Such a welcoming and inviting experience. The host is hilarious and everyone in the place felt like they've known each other for years. The banter was amazing. Not only was it an excellent meal but he kept bringing us samples of other things to try and all of it was great.
Everything we tasted was perfectly done.
This is likely now going to be a destination for us to return in future trips to Portugal and we have recommended it to friends and family.
It's worth every penny even if you're traveling across the country!

The food was great, I would give five stars but, I received 1€ less on my change. I noticed this is a common trap on tourists in Europe, so maybe count your change before you leave.
Super nice host who was happy to use his German again. Cozy happy atmosphere with many Portuguese regulars. Food was great! We can particularly recommend the chicken shrimp skewers - top value for money and super tasty!
