Perfect. Small place with 6 tables that can seat 18 people. On a working day in October, mostly workers are eating. They prepare fresh grilled fish in a masterful way. The snapper they served me is a 10, the best I've ever eaten. At its perfect point. Reasonable price: we ate for 2 people for 35 euros including starters, house wine and dessert. You can not ask for more.

For me and the people who accompanied me, we think that this restaurant may have the best food in the world but there is no justification for accepting a reservation for dinner that day (which I still don't know if they serve) and arriving at the restaurant and it being closed!

On vacation in Porto Covo looking for a restaurant to have lunch with the family and we were super pleased with this space. That typical "tasca" that doesn't disappoint... That grill at the entrance we see the owner cooking the old-fashioned way.Friendliness and honesty is what I found.The wonderful food.At the end we even had the opportunity to try some liqueurs.

The food very good. Good value for money. The only thing was the slow service and the waiter on the terrace, an unfriendly young man. They tried to sneak the bread, olives, pates and so on. That we reject it Two soups of the day. Cheese with honey and rosemary. Sardines. Bread. Two drinks and a coffee €27. With the sardines (7 units) it also came as a garnish with salad and roasted potatoes. All very rich. Abundant. Very cheap!!! To return if we don't think much of the waiter.

This place have ONE OF THE BEST FISH IN ALL PORTUGAL - I order Golden Fish (local). I walked the Fisherman Trail from Sines to Lagos and ate in all cities along the trail. None was so good as this one. Fish made simple, fast and for reasonable price. Really friendly people - owners - they agreed to cook for us after 3 PM so after they close the place - rest of places didn't wanted to talk to me and sell us any food. The owner speaks fluent english, big plus for them since not all people (Staff) in restaurants do, Plus he pointed me directions to start the trail. The restaurant is really small,
