Delicious vegetarian meal, breads, oil and vinho tinto here. Beautiful spot to eat outside and inside in Soajo with friendly family of hosts and insights into the history of the region and agriculture inside. Plan to return, obrigada!
Vegetarian options: Delicious rice with beans, aubergine, courgettes and corn dish. Plus tasty local corn bread aswell as usual fresh dought and olis.
Kid-friendliness: Children present, good space for kids outside.

Amazing place for lunch. Order the dish of the day it’s Yummy! David is a great chief and a wonderful host.
My partner and I dropped by late on a Tuesday evening and were warmly greeted and seated.
We were then explained the small but excellent menu (with english translation) and we selected the steak meal for 2.
It did not disappoint. Gorgeously cooked rare over a charcoal grill served with a plentiful helping of batatas fritas and heavenly rice (heavily seasoned with bay leaf).
The wine selection was also great and reasonably priced. We enjoyed a local vino verde and a nicely priced Noia (red).
Our host was kind and attentive throughout, it was especially impressive considering she had 4 x other couples dining who all spoke different languages.
Overall i think it was excellent value for money and a very pleasant experience.
I would recommend bringing cash as the card machine is a bit unreliable.
10/10 would steak again.

We had a wonderful meal tonight..the special was veal..one of the best we have had in portugal..we also were directed towards a wonderful white wine from alentejano...absolutely wonderfulfot 14 euros ..there was also a less expensive house white but this obe was wonderful..our host was friendly and spent time with us showing up a great hiking trail fir tomorrow..we will be going back there tomorrow night
