Absolutely outstanding restaurant and Joyce & Luis are the best. It was so good a week later my daughter and her friends also went. Food was amazing made the night!

If you want a really special dining experience while you're in Lisbon, this is the place to go. Joice and Luis prepare your meal as you watch and chat with them. It's very intimate and unique and everything they prepared was delicious. The prices are also quite reasonable. Be sure to get a reservation, as there are only two tables but be prepared for a fun evening!
Luis & Joyce welcomed us right from the start of our memorable evening with them. We felt like friends had invited us over to dinner. The food was excellent as was the service. They both were right there fixing the meal as we chatted. We ate the best bruschetta we ‘ve ever had, followed by meat balls and rice in a delicious sauce. For dessert, we enjoyed banana cake and vanilla gelato. All types of drinks are available…we drank a great bottle of Douro red wine followed by Port.

Estamine art food drink was a tiny sweet restaurant we just happened to walk by and saw Luis (one of the owners) smiling at us through the window. We knew we had to try it and were lucky to obtain a reservation the day before we departed Portugal. It was one of the most special dining experiences we have ever had. It is a small couple run restaurant with only two tables. You are literally sitting in the kitchen next to your food being prepared by Luis and Joice. They make you feel so welcome. Artsy interior with many of Luis’s creations hung on the walls and above your head. The food was outstanding and special. Again- be clear this is not your typical restaurant- it is tiny and has a tiny menu. A few tapas appetizers to choose from (we had the bruschetta- best I have EVER had), and we chose the meatballs and zucchini rolls for our main dishes (there was a cod dish available as well). Wonderful cocktails, or wines available. One dessert which was very yummy. Port and coffee also. We bought a couple of Luis’s beautiful ceramic plates to take home. If you are looking for a unique, special, intimate dining experience, please join Luis and Joice. It was fantastic and a total highlight of our entire Portugal vacation!
