Super family restaurant with a very pleasant and inviting terrace, incredible food, I recommend the picanha charcoal which comes very well accompanied without forgetting the desserts which are a “must” in this restaurant that makes it stand out from the rest. House staff very helpful and attentive.

Good food, I like Carvoada, it's what we always order, it's fun and good, and the four sauces to accompany it, the potatoes disappear. Good service, and overall a typically Portuguese restaurant, with good prices.
Bread, cheese and olives for starter. Carvoada for 3 (there were 4 of us), 2x0.5L jugs of draft wine, a water and 4 coffees (without dessert because we were full) and it was 57eur. Good prices.

September 2023. Please look at the 2 photos attached. This is the menu handed over to guests, and it reflects well the atmosphere and service of this place.- Poor/slow service: we had to ask several times for bread, olives, butter, in order to survive the 45-minute wait for our food. The place was only 30% full on a Sunday lunch, but the 2 waiters and 1 cook could not handle the requests fast enough. We faced the same delays when asking for drinks, for desserts, for the bill.- Decoration/Atmosphere: it seems they stopped investing 10 years ago. We stayed outside: rusty metal parts, cats wandering around, walls with humidity and lack of paint, old plastic sheets covering half the esplanade from the Sun and rain, lots of flies but no machine to “zap” them.- The two waiters: simply unable to handle the normal requests, forgetting things, not proactive.- Bad quality/price ratio. Prices are too high for this experience, for the not-central location, especially when compared with their competition in much better locations on the South side of river Tejo, such as Caparica or Trafaria.-

Parking: the street has been in construction works for months, and will continue so until the 1st quarter 2024. This reduced a lot the parking spots, and creates flying dust on windy days. We heard the waiters blaming the road works for the low amount of clients in recent months… someone needs to tell them the main reason is the below-average experience this restaurant provides, combined with above-average prices.
