Tuesday, 12:55 pm we arrived at the restaurant for lunch - 2 people. We had to knock on the door to be served. The lady who served us said in a very arrogant tone: she said that there was no room and that it would take a while, that it was not possible to serve us. It didn't even give us the chance to wait for lunch. I question: if I was in formal wear would there already be room or could we wait?!?

Restaurant too small. Once open, they display a SOLD OUT sign and close the door. It reminds me of The Muppets. Anyone who knocks on the door doesn't even get a response about the possibility of making an appointment later. Sad!

The food is very well prepared, by hands that know what they are doing, even the salad is excellent. In a place like Sortelha I never thought I would eat one of the best octopus rice, well seasoned and perfectly cooked rice. The bean rice very well done. The decor is almost taken from a Harry Potter film.

Feeling At Home Away From Home.Small but very welcoming restaurant. Homemade food of great quality and flavor, especially game, the meat melts in your mouth and the flavor is divine. The meal is cooked to order and the portion is very generous. Very friendly and attentive staff. Old-fashioned service in which the customer can feel at ease because as soon as the space fills up they stop accepting more people or reservations. They prefer the quality and calm of the service to filling the room several times. Always make a reservation in advance to guarantee a table.We will come back more often. 5*

While passing through Sotelha, we ended up having lunch at this restaurant. The space is small, it is advisable to reserve. The food was spectacular. A great gastronomic experience. We tried the deer and wild boar stew, hare rice and cod à D.Sancho. Everything was divine! I recommend it, without a doubt! The staff is very friendly.
