Delicious Celtic cod

Parking: Approximately six vacancies. Fills up quickly due to demand for the bar in the same location

To forget, I know restaurants from the north to the south of the country and I have never been served like I am here. For the first time, I was charged €3.50 for cutlery service, to be able to share a dish with another person. A real shame, such a thing had never happened to me. I don't know if this fee has a legal basis or not, in any case I think it's shameful to have this type of attitude towards customers.
Regarding the food, another shame, I ate half of the dish, which was Cod à la Celta, which was supposed to be shredded cod with mashed potatoes, which goes in the oven to brown, so far so good... the dish was served beautifully and very well. aspect, the problem is that it practically only brought mashed potatoes, because the cod was left in the kitchen. Giving €11 for a plate of mashed potatoes is offensive.
One star because I can't give zero.

Judging by the comments, I'm not the only one and I certainly won't be the last to talk about the service. RIDICULOUS is the nicest way to classify the waitress or person in charge (I don't give a damn) who served us. But as Newton said, "action generates reaction" without need but it had to be...
As for lunch, the Veal was very good and well prepared.
A shame indeed, but I really value the main thing... education.

Terrible attendance. We entered and immediately felt that we were not being very well received, but we still stayed. We asked if there was soup, and the lady serving it responded negatively and arrogantly that it was not a tradition in the area. Then we asked for a dish for both of us and the lady replied that they were individual portions and therefore we would have to pay extra for the cutlery. But he was so arrogant that we got up and left. I'm very sorry that in Portugal people still serve people like this. Bad image for tourism.

Restaurant located in Sortelha. I don't recommend the Celtic cod, little or no cod and full of curry. The other dish we tried (Veal) was reasonably good. Thus, the meal did not stand out at all by having a negative dish. The service was good.It is worth noting that there is a €3.5 cutlery service in this restaurant which, even though it is included in the precarious list, is just bizarre and unusual. Despite not being on the menu, the absence of soup is strange.
