Very efficient and friendly service

Very tasty food. High prices. The suggestion of the day should also appear on the menu, or at least indicate the price, so that there are no unpleasant surprises when paying the bill.

In the end it was a good experience and the fairest rating would be 4.5 stars.

“Super nice family restaurant. The people there are so friendly and always pay attention to what you need.

We tried the fish soup, fried eel, seafood rice and cod fish. My children loves the seafood rice the best and so do we. A portion of two is enough for 4 of us. If we were to go again, seafood rice is a must order dish.

The lady there is so kind that she stopped us from ordering more dishes to avoid wastage. That’s so true. Their portion is big and all the dishes are value for money.

But this restaurant is just a gem.
Very effective in decoration while remaining simple.
On the other hand, the dishes are just magnificent,
The cod is in its place.
Or maybe it’s the place for cod.
good, tasty, quite plentiful.
The wines offered match the dishes.
The local beers offered are very good.
On the next visit, I order meat, which looks just as good.
I don't understand that some of the people next to me ordered chicken and fries, which is not on the menu, but which they were kind enough to serve to them ???.

The chilli looks the same as in the menu, that's why I didn't take any pictures. I don't think it's a portion to share at all.Having said that, I would like to point out that if you are in a hurry, this restaurant is not for you. We stayed around two hours for this lunch ( the restaurant was never full, when we got there, one table besides ours, already eating, and then after we started eating, a few more tables).The restaurant offers mostly vegetarian options, with a selection of vegan options.I also felt like the person who was serving us maybe was new staff to the restaurant as they didn't have the answers when I asked some questions about the menu options being vegan or vegetarian as I was confused about some items on the menu. He then went into the kitchen area to ask a colleague and came back telling me that the heura has egg whites therefore it's not vegan, which left me even more confused as the brand heura is fully vegan. So either they are using some fake heura or they don't know what's vegan or not, which is not very comforting to hear, as I make a lot of efforts to keep my vegan diet.

The prices are great for such a good restaurant. Not as expensive as a seaside restaurant, and slightly more expensive than McDonalds.
When people ask me about good restaurants in Aveiro, this is the first one I think of for several years.
