Lovely positioning on the Duoro River. Watching the passing boats of all shows and sizes. Light meals and outdoor seating too. Wine tasting as well as various wines by the glass.
We came for food but they only have tapas (some pictures on maps are wrong)
We called in for a light lunch and a taste of local wine and port. Parking was so easy and we were warmly greeted. The setting is sensational right on top of the river. The food was great bar food my husband had cheese and sausage I had a delicious duck salad then we had port ice cream and port cake all delicious.
Nice terrace overlooking the Douro river. Limited menu of snacks, which were ok, but nothing special.
This restaurant was recommended to us by our host. The setting is very pretty indeed, at tables outside along the Douro River. However, service took forever, and it was not busy at all!! So long, that a manager? Owner? who was sitting on the deck himself with some friends, got up and started waiting some tables. The menu was very limited. Just a couple of little dishes, and only two entrees. They were out of duck salad, but told us they had a tuna and bean salad. So we each ordered that, with an order of bread and olives (which were delicious), and french fries (good!). We did not drink any wine, because it was during the day. The food took another ten or fifteen minutes to arrive. The salad consisted of mostly black eyed peas, and a few pieces of tuna fish, a little onion. We had some olive oil to pour over. That was it! Oh, and out of the two bathroom stalls, one was out of toilet paper, and the other one did not flush!
Overpriced tourist trap
Beautiful place to have a light lunch, good food and reasonably priced wine with extraordinary views of the douro river
Great views and cappuccino. The port was good too!!!
Bad unaccommodating service.

Fabulous wine bar with enough tasty treats to double as lunch. The wine bar has a deck overlooking the Duoro—such a beautiful setting. We ordered the chicken gizzards—€5. So tender and tasty with pickled vegetables. Also had the caramelized quail—€7. This was a good portion with 4 legs and 4 breasts on a bed of caramelized onions. Delicious!
Lovely tapas !
This place is amazing. What a great find. The food was superb. I really enjoyed the quail and gizzards.
Lunch with THE VIEW! Loved the outdoor seating.. amazingly located; easy access; quite a variety when it comes to tapas.. a lil overpriced and could be a lil more portuguese and less international.. enjoyed the spot, company, cool drinks & seating! Thanks!
Picturesque patio location by the river with tapas food and decently priced wine. Food is tapas style so don't expect super fancy but definitely vibes/view over meal taste
