Great food with the extra touch of brilliant presentation. We tried to get a table but the restaurant was fully booked, so we booked to come back another night. It was definitely worth it, the staff are also very nice. It is a place you must try when visiting.

What a spectacular way to end the day. We were travelling from Monte Gordo to Tavira and after a long day of walking around we wanted something good to eat. We were told we could get a table if we finished before nine o'clock, which we agreed to. The starters were fried polenta with bacalao and another one with mushrooms. Both were really good. I liked the one with mushrooms the best. The we had tagliatelle with seafood. This dish although seemingly easy to make, is not mastered by all chefs. But this chef certainly knew how to make it. If we had the time we would have eaten a dessert or maybe another dish, but undortunatly we had to travel back to Monte Gordo.

I give 4 stars just for a detail that has to do with personal taste. The restaurant does not have good acoustics and anyone who sits inside is uncomfortable with the noise. Other than that, nothing to point out. The prices are above average, however, it's worth the experience because each dish is truly an expulsion of flavors. Wonderful food.

Small portions and expensive for Tavira. We had the choice to sit inside ( which I recommend) but sat outside on side walk with people walking by and hover over your food … and the neighbors upstairs (kids) like to make noises and distract the customers! Service was good and always attentive ; but for Tavira way overpriced!
