A MUST WHEN VISITING TAVIRA. Came here after my parents recommendation and was not disappointed. Situated only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town, we came back again as the food was to die for. First night we had the gambas, fried fish with tomato rice, stewed pork rib (special) and the tuna salad. Absolutely stunning. Make sure to dash the tuna salad with Olive Oil and vinegar. Really brings out the flavours. Second time we had the special sword fish cooked in parsley and garlic butter (special) and the duck rice. Both stunning meals.
They have managed to capture the locals hearts and it’s never not busy. Can’t thank the team enough for such a lovely part to our holiday!

The food is good, but the service is average, we were on the terrace and at first they served us, but then they forgot about us, and there were more people on the terrace. We wanted to consume more, but we got tired of waiting and went somewhere else. Not recommendable.

Superb place for a bite to eat or just to have a drink and located two minutes walk away from Bishops Sq. Mostly Portuguese clientele, lovely atmosphere with great food and drinks at affordable prices. The staff are amazingly friendly too. This visit I had Shrimp and Spinach Lasagna with salad from the dish of the day menu, it was absolutely delicious! Cannot recommend highly enough.
