For many years I have come to Portugal to enjoy the many and very good things I find. Portugal is wonderful, and Tavira is a gem. This place offers quality food, but the service is the worst I remember ever encountering in Portugal. And since the place has responded to this criticism saying that I arrived 1 hour early (lie: 15 minutes before) and that the place was full (lie: there were several empty tables in the area where we were, and there were people who arrived later and they received their orders earlier), kindly explain why, for example, after ordering the soy sauce and waiting for around 10 min. In order for them to bring it to me, I had to get up myself to pick up a jar that had been left by some diners who had finished dinner and left. Even my daughters noticed a gesture of disdain that a waitress gave me that I did not notice, when I was being as kind and courteous as I could... trying to communicate in your language with your staff. I don't have a good pronunciation but I defend myself very well without communicating in Portuguese. I couldn't recommend this place to anyone, and it looks pretty good. But I have come to eat angry. Service is 80% of a restaurant.

Het is een prachtig restaurant waar we al jaren komen. We vinden de sushi erg lekker, alleen dit keer was de bediening helaas niet goed. Achteraf gaven ze dit ook toe ivm onderbezetting. Toch zullen we een volgende keer weer terugkomen.

A bit of a strange place, entrance to the restaurant was not obvious, was more to the side of the building, then it opens into an outdoor area, with a large seating area, I was expecting a bit more of ambient. Menu is mainly of different varieties of sushi (a lot of variety) some limited sashimi, and very limited hot dishes. Service was friendly but really slow. The sushi and sashimi were good, but the noodles were just very disappointing. Still probably a good option in the area for Japanese inspired food.

One very strange experience. We booked this restaurant for a quiet sushi meal, but it wasn't exactly what we expected. The area is not very pleasant, behind a club. Obviously an extra area of that same club that the owner wants to monetize, nothing wrong with that On arrival one of the employees, a very nice but not very knowledgeable person took us to our table outside. There was loud "sunset party" music on the speakers. Only another couple on another table. My partner has some meal restrictions that we easily realize that couldn't be fulfilled. The music went louder, we gave up and left the restaurant without trying the sushi. Maybe good, maybe bad... But this is not the kind of place if you want a quiet and easy dinner

Friendly personnel, really tasty sushi, beautiful view from the upper balcony and fresh breeze. It was my birthday, and guys served me a desert with candle. Trifle detail, but so nice of them! I would like to visit this place one more time.

The sushi is not of good quality. Diluted soy sauce, we had to ask for original. It's a shame with such good and friendly service and a very pleasant space. Not even the passion fruit sangria saved the meal. Extremely sweet.
