The menus they gave us to choose our food were so dirty, torn and damaged that we just wanted to get up and leave. But we stayed.... The waitress didn't understand a single word of Portuguese. The service had many flaws. The food was good but it failed to make us forget the inappropriate condition of the menus and the poor service from the staff.

Extra point for being friendly and open all day and speaking English. Yet, grilled octopus was rubbery and felt like it was 100 years old.

Another surprising restaurant in the Algarve! We didn’t expect much but were pleasantly impressed. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and we had fun joking with him. The raw oysters were the best we’ve had in Portugal accompanied by a nice inexpensive white wine. Our Portuguese style tuna was a welcome change from the regular seared tuna and much appreciated. Finished off with cheesecake and a local delicacy, a carob, fig and almond tart… superb! One of our best lunches in the Algarve!

Fantastic meal and service. We had swordfish, sea bass and prawn caril, everything cooked perfectly and generous vegetables. Wine great too. Definitely will return.

I loved the crab and the shrimp from the Algarve coast... D Rodrigo isn't even mentioned and the Algarve mix is ​​very good... Good the medronho ?

Hi their ‘ 3rd visit to Aqua Salgada Marisqueira ‘ if you like sea food the way I do then this is the place . Landed on 23rd of December and I had booked it on the Fork even though i had never been there before . Done a bit of recon on the location and noticed it was going towards the sea and what looked like a possible fish market area . It did not disappoint’ you know when local people are dining and picking up sea food it’s a winner . Had a prawn salad starter with avocado lettuce tomato onions and a dip in the centre unbelievable. Main course was Tuna Portuguese’s roast peppers onions tomatoes garlic ‘ and chips ‘I know we love a chip in the uk ‘ but me i like vegetables’ but these chips were made for this Tuna . Deserts / Banoffee’ if you go have the Banoffee. Me at home not a second look but here the only way is Banoffee. Christmas Eve ‘ back home my x partner was French and it was Mussels and French fries on Christmas Eve and I have stuck with that for years ‘ well they done this for me and yes it was to die for ‘ the service was great and the people were wonderful as for price you have a choice of what you want and how much you want to pay so to me the quality of the food was excellent so not expensive in my eyes.

This is the second time we've had dinner at this restaurant and it was just as good as the first time.... absolutely excellent.
