Another surprising restaurant in the Algarve! We didn’t expect much but were pleasantly impressed. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and we had fun joking with him. The raw oysters were the best we’ve had in Portugal accompanied by a nice inexpensive white wine. Our Portuguese style tuna was a welcome change from the regular seared tuna and much appreciated. Hi their ‘ 3rd visit to Aqua Salgada Marisqueira ‘ if you like sea food the way I do then this is the place . Landed on 23rd of December and I had booked it on the Fork even though i had never been there before . Done a bit of recon on the location and noticed it was going towards the sea and what looked like a possible fish market area . We crossed the border and went on a bit of an adventure. We ended up at this restaurant and we were right. Excellent service, very good food (swordfish and bacalhau à Brás). The price was very good, with coffee and dessert it did not reach €40, 2 people. Totally recommended by us.
